Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Foundation of Dev Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya was laid in 1999 under the flagship of Mother Institution Shantikunj, which is a spiritual academy and Head Quarter of All World Gayatri Parivar. In the month of Jan 2002 the vision become a reality when the University was recognized by University Grant Commission (Government of India) New Delhi. Now this University is truly the center of divine culture which is established for Cultural Renaissance of the globe.That was the vision of founder patron revered Pandit Sriram Sharma Acharya and Bhagvati Devi Sharma. This University keeps alive the Vedic Tradition, in which the students and teacher observes a healthy, simple lifestyle that keeps the focus on their cultural values. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is built right in the heart of Haridwar, which is one of the seven most sacred places in India. It is situated on the bank of Holi river Ganges and the lap of Sacred Himalaya. The campus is extremely conducive for any kind of relaxation, Mediation and socializing. 84 Acer campus is located on the Dehradun Rishikesh Road on Delhi- Niti Pass Highway, seven km away from Haridwar Railway Station.
